Had a lovely morning plein air painting on Thursdaywith a couple of buddies. We set up on a pretty
busy spot near the marina in Oak Bay and
spent about an hour. This piece is a little different
in style for me as I simplified as much as I could.
I like the very graphic result.

I like this a lot too, Jeffrey. There is a real sense of spring coming on. The graphic elements are quite strong as well!
Why is it so challenging to simplify?! I ask myself this question every time I begin to paint...
