'Woodland Waterfall'

This another painting for my up coming show
on Thurs. Dec 02 at
The Gallery
in the Oak Bay Village
The show opens on the gallery walk night
in the Oak Bay Village
6 pm - 9 pm
I will be there and hope you can make it out.
I took the reference
photo on a plein air excursion to the, now
protected, Sooke Potholes. This stream
feeds into the Sooke River and was
quite a sight that day in late October.
Oil on wood panel 8 x 6.
Your thoughts & comments are always
greatly appreciated!

Oh, my, this is grand! I love the composition and the way the trees envelope the water.

Hi Jeffrey!....Love this Woodland Waterfall piece! You really have created the energy of movement and elevation in this one.

Our worlds overlap yet again! I could show you the very same waterfall you have so eloquently described in paint... along the Madawaska River... on the edge of algonquin Park!

Strange... how "We" keep nudgin' into each other's world!

Good Painting!... and especially... Good sales at yopur Dec 2nd show! Luck will have little to do with those!

Warmest regards,
Bruce
