Though I had gone to paint the soul enriching Camas,
the clouds in the spring sky seemed to
over take my efforts.
It was easier to watch the swallows too =;-))

Hi there Jeffrey!... Your post and lovely plein air landscape well illustrates the advantage of the practice of painting outdoors.
One can switch gears and paint something totally unintended... or expected... and that's the joy of it all ... isn't it?
