This piece was started as a demo for a
local art group. Using a plein air painting
of the area from last spring along with
a photo taken while I painted their.
Of course a large dallop of imagination
it now being the end of September...

I am particularly drawn to the cloud structure... wherein lies the majesty of the imaginary dollop that you mentioned! Beautifully handled!
