'Peninsula Harvest'

This past Friday morning was the type

of fall morning we plein air painters long for.

Out on the Saanich Peninsula the pumpkin

harvest is in full swing and cabbages not

far behind them. Hope to get

out painting quite a bit while this

weather holds...

October Pumpkins

 
We had a beautiful October day for painting

en plein air on Friday and many of the pumpkin

fields where still unharvested. Here in Canada

we celebrate Thanksgiving this weekend and it

was grand to be able to spend part of it in

such abundance of sunlight and colour.
