This is a local spot within site of my studio that I have painted many times in the past. In June this year
early one evening the west wind really came up and
I went down and took a bunch of reference photos,
some of which I used for this painting.
I hope to do a large canvas of this scene soon.
This painting will be one of a group of my paintings
featured in an evening event at
The Gallery
in the Oak Bay Village

on Wednesday Aug. 18th
3PM - 8PM
I will be there painting that evening.

The colour is rich... the brushwork expressive! Wonderful landscape gems!
