Containing natures drama within the confines of
a particular size support and yet trying to allow
its raw beauty to some how be free is always a
challenge. Magically with a bit of paint
and some patient perseverance
we sometimes come close.
Alas it is after all but paint and canvas.
However artists do dream and
sometimes, even dreams can come true.
This is another one for my upcoming show
in March at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria,
more info to follow.

Good morning Jeffrey!.... What a great start to my morning! Java with Jeffrey and this bright colourful vision of BC!
I wish you well with your exhibition. This one can do nothing less than add a "knockout punch" for viewers attending that show! Good luck with it!
Thought of you ... when I was painting in Algonquin earlier this week. You would have had a blast sharing that! Some day?.... Who knows where Life goes.... EH Jeffrey?
Good Painting!
Warmest regards,
Bruce
I am in deep admiration of your success with you rstruggles to capture the wildness and freedon in a confined space. In this painting,Sunrise on the Salish Sea, you have succeeded. I am in Florida now and struggling with wet lands and wild cloudy/sunny skies. I love the challenge and can see thatyou as an artist are constantly challenging yourself...with many successes.
Cheers

Hi Jeffrey, have you made your choice on how many paintings you are putting into your exhibition? You know it would be fabulous to be able to view the chosen paintings to see the beautiful expressive sun filled paintings together in a gallery. Wishing you lots of luck with the show and looking forward to hearing more news of the show from you soon here in blogging land. Best wishes to you from the highlands of Scotland.
Thanks Caroline...starting to get serious picking and choosing now!
