Drifting clouds casting shadows on a sunlit afternoon
is a cherished memory to contemplate on
a cool overcast day in February.
I guess those teachers and adult figures in my
past who mentioned so often that
"I had my head in the clouds",
may have been right after all!
Oil on canvas 12 x 9.

Hi Jeffrey,
Keep your head in the clouds! Your work is energetic and calming at the same time. And, you KNOW sky!
Thanks Melinda...I'll try...the thing is to try and keep your feet on the ground at the same time!

Good painting Jeff. Very fresh. Definitely an image that would help ward off those cloudy times.
Thanks Ken...works for me...

I love your clouds! I've been working on clouds too recently (will post my final version this week). I too love their perceptive...and the color of those hills in back.
Thanks Karen...I've been following your cloud work...
