challenging for many of us to keep a positive
outlook. Keep in mind that all this negative
energy that surrounds us at this moment will
pass, it will be very painful for many of us,
but it will at some point in the future be a
bad memory. As they say in the song,
"nothin' stays wrong for long..."
On the other hand spring will come just as
it always does the air will warm, you will feel the
suns warmth on your face, in many places
wild flowers will once again bloom, trees will
blossom and if we take the time to notice,
this miracle can fill our hearts with joy.
When things get tough take the time to find
a quite place with a large tree, lean your back
against its trunk and close your eyes, let the
strumming of its life force vibrate your soul
and calm your spirit.
Oil on canvas 14 x11.

Jeffery, Beautiful, dynamic pattern in this one. I love the touches of purple in the foreground!
Thanks Liz...an ancient ecosystem in the middle of the city!

What a wonderful painting to see and post to read fist thing this morning! Thanks for the uplifting sentiments.
Great spring painting Jeff, and a great stat
Kenement along with it. Nice to read this AM. Thanks Bud.
Everytime I come to your blog I feel like I'm looking at the Group of Nine. Your paintings make me see how acrylic is truly gorgeous when handled with this combination of care and panache!
Thanks for that Karen...I'm glad to hear that!!

Thanks Ken,
I've been feeling a bit over loaded with all the doom & gloom lately and it felt good to put this out there...it was somewhat inspired by my art friend Melinda down in sunny Touscon, who makes very good medicine indeed...her link is on my blog role.

Thanks so much for that Celeste, it won't be long now till the magnolias are in bloom.

Your work, Jeffrey, is such good medicine and your words I shall take to heart...and breathe, remember that all will change in time...better days are ahead.
Thank you for making beautiful paintings that jump from the monitor with life and hope.
I'm so glad, too, that I can offer you a small respite in these tough times. I've just put a link to a feel good song/video that you might enjoy.
Hang in there! As long as we can paint, we have some joy.
Thanks so much for your wonderful
comment Melinda...will do!
