'Evening Westerlies'

This is a local spot within site of my studio that I
have painted many times in the past. In June this year
early one evening the west wind really came up and
I went down and took a bunch of reference photos,
some of which I used for this painting.
I hope to do a large canvas of this scene soon.
This painting will be one of a group of my paintings
featured in an evening event at
The Gallery
in the Oak Bay Village
2223A oak Bay Ave.
250 598-9890
on Wednesday Aug. 18th
3PM - 8PM
I will be there painting that evening.
If you are in the area I hope you can make it out
to see some of my work.
Oil on canvas 12 x 16.
Your thoughts & comments are always appreciated!
Jeffrey

You've captured the turbulence of the water so well. I love this view and your painting of it.

Congratulations on the upcoming exhibit! How I wish I could stop by and enjoy your work in person.

Have a great time!

Hi Jeffrey!... What a beautifully striking contrast there is between the two pieces!

The colour is rich... the brushwork expressive! Wonderful landscape gems!

Wish that I was nearby for your show... I'd certainly make an appearance just to meet "You"... and to see your work firsthand!

Some day I hope! Good luck with sales!
Good painting!
Warmest regards,
Bruce
