'On An Ebbing Tide'

Soon the tide will retreat toward its source.
Surging, splashing waves will be transformed into
miles of open beach left silent now that the waves
have moved seaward. What was once a barrier to
further travel and exploration is now a silent
undulating and somewhat eerie expanse of freedom.
Exhilarating to walk on as the skies clear
and the afternoon light begins to fade
into evening...

Good Easter Morning Jeffrey!... A lovely warm image which works so well in tandem with your thoughtful words that accompany the painting!

Sort of reinforces... that Life is a beach... constantly ebbing and changing... offering new and unexpected opportunities... for those open to search and follow!

Good Painting... and Happy Spring!
Warmest regards,
Bruce

Thanks Bruce...though we try to tell ourselves that we have a plan and goals, the thing about the art life is that for the most part 'we're rollin' without a map'
trying to take it all in and heading for the next hill or corner in our never ending exploration with no end...always in motion!

I love the way you captured the beach sand. Really wonderful! And, your art life sounds full of adventure and fun.

You live in such a beautiful region. Sigh...

Looking forward to more!
