The sun has chased the storm clouds away
and cast the landscape in a golden glow.

love the 'Evening Clouds and Queen Anns Lace' Jeffrey. Queen Ann's Lace is among my fav wild flowers, and I think it's such a perfect name for them. I had the pleasure of viewing some of your paintings and Linny's too at the Art Gallery of Victoria rental gallery when I was visiting Vic in December. All gorgeous!

Hi there Jeffrey!... Your first posting for 2016 bears the Boronesque trademarks which make your paintings so appealing to the eye:

Strong composition anchored by warmth of color... effectively juxtaposed use of complementary color both contribute to added drama and mood intended. Bravo!

Good Painting!... and Happy New Year!

Warmest regards,
Bruce

Hi Sally,

Thank you very much...nothing says summer wildflowers quite like Queen Anne's Lace does it.
It is one of my favourite plein airs from 2015 and will be in my upcoming two person show with Linny D Vine at The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria...

Sincerely,
Jeffrey
