Moonrise Macaulay Point

The moon and its affects on ocean tides

and the Earthlings that observe them

have always intrigued our species.

Attempting to capture in paint, 

a moment in natures grand display

will continue to be a 

passionate endeavor for me.

This piece was started as a demo

for one of the local art groups here in Victoria.

This is Esquimalts Macaulay Point looking

northeast to the entrance to Victoria Harbour.

The rough ground along the shoaling

shoreline makes for some incredible

wave action.
