Gorge Light

This is a view from a footbridge over the
upper end of the Gorge. The water is mostly
brackish at this point. Restoration work on
the salmon run here has been on going for
some time and has had some success.
I found this to be a fairly complex subject for
a small format. Part of the water is in
full light and has cast shadows across its
surface with the bottom colour showing, the other
area of water has a reflection
of the far shore. The high contrast values of the
trees in the shoreline added yet another
challenge, perhaps to much... =;-))
I hope to do a larger version
of this soon.

Good pic Jeff. I had a feeling it was the upper Gorge, as I grew up in that area.
Good depiction of the scene/area Jeff.

Thanks Ken...this spot always seems to have a very special light in it I have to try and figure out how to break it down just so...somehow!
