painted several months ago. One of Victoria's
important light stations it sits about three miles to the
north of Victoria's inner harbour. Trial Island light has
been guarding the approach to both Oak Bay and
Victoria for many years and has been instrumental
to navigation and saving the lives of many mariners
in the often rough seas it surveys.
Oil on canvas 16 x 20.

Very fresh my friend. Looks like it was 'experienced' right there! Good work.
Thanks Ken...I have spent many hours over the years salmon fishing right there!
Jeffrey

Like it! Like it! In fact I like "Ready to Go" AND the lighthouse, both of them a departure from your wonderful tree series. It's good to see the scope of your subject matter, it shows your drawing skills too.
Thanks Ron!

Wonderful color and texture. Love the clouds. Beautiful painting
I really like the rhythm of the blue and orange, blue and orange and blue, top to bottom. Not repetitive, but varied and easy to grasp... and making the lighthouse stand out so much the more.
Thanks Dori, appreciate it.

Hey Edgar, thanks for that!

Another gorgeous sky that communicates so much. I can feel the moisture from the sky and the crispness of the air.
Well done, Jeffrey. Good medicine for the eyes!
P. S. I keep losing your blog url and have to re-list you. I wonder if any of your other followers have had this problem. I even got an error message when I tried to re-list you in my blog list. Hmmm. Will keep tabs on this.
