Morning Sky-Esquimalt Lagoon

Hello everyone,
Well life is settling down a little bit and I'm finally
getting this piece posted that was painted a couple
of weeks ago now. A friend and I met out at the mouth of
Esquimalt Lagoon that morning and were somewhat
surprised by a dramatic change of weather. We went from
hot and sunny and sunscreen to grabbing our jackets
and hanging on to our easels while trying to paint fast.
All told we spent about two hours and finished with
hot weather once again!!
I hope to be posting more regularly
in the days to come.
(I think the title needs a little work!)
Oil on wood panel 11 x 14.
Comments are always appreciated and hoped for.
Jeffrey

Your weather sounds just like ours in N. Carolina where you don't know what's coming from one minute to the next!

The fragmented clouds and whitecaps give do give the impression of a windy day.
