'Summer Wind-Oak Bay'

Fierce winds today on the south coast but I managed
to tuck myself out of most of it and still be able
to paint its effect on the water under the bright sun.
I have painted many times at Cattle Point but there
is always another angle with different light and season.
The sparkle of the water was very intense and is
what grabbed my attention for this piece.
(my apologize for the poor photo here)
Oil on wood panel
 9 x 12.
Your thoughts and comments are greatly appreciated!

Ah...I visit, view your beautiful work and am inspired as well as feel less of the blistering heat of my own environment.

Love, love, love the sparkly water!

Hi again Jeffrey!... Love the harmony you have created with your rich broken colour in the Salt Spring Cove piece! Dazzling effects for sure!

The Summer Wind piece with so much horizontal movement really creates that laid back summer feeling!

I love them both equally! Great work!

Good Painting!
Warmest regards,
Bruce
