'First Light on the Salish Sea'

Last Friday morning I painted with a group of outsiders
at the historic Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Light.
It was a glorious morning and I was there quite early.
There is, as I have mentioned in past postings, much
history at this site. This was the very first light station on
Canada's west coast and is situated at the entrance
to Esquimalt Harbour and the Naval Station.
Oil on wood panel 12 x 16.
Your thoughts & comments always appreciated.

This is my favourite view of the lighthouse and you've done us proud again. Love the warm light.
