'One October Morning' *SOLD*

This was painted a couple of weeks ago on a
beautiful October morning on Victoria's waterfront.
I was able to make it out early enough to
catch some interesting light and colour.
This spot is above Holland Point looking south across
the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Washington's
Olympic Mountains.

The clouds and mountains far away have taken the hue of your earlier post!
Your blog is an ode to all seasons!!

Hi again Jeffrey!... A lovely autumn study... rich soft clour... a wonderful use of the contrast in light... strongly shadowed foreground vs the brightly lit back and middle grounds. Very effective!

A lovely piece!

Good Painting!
Warmest regards,
Bruce
