'Highrock Snow'

Another one from Highrock Park. I have done others
of this particular spot before plein air.
However this one was painted in the
warmth of my studio.

Good morning Jeffrey! "This one was painted from the warmth of the studio"... which only goes to prove the value of plein air work.

Lessons learned and feelings felt "out there"... come back into the studio to empower the brush.

You have surely captured the feel and energy of that mass of tangles and snow! A gem Jeffrey!

Good Painting... inside and out in 2012!

Warmest regards,
Bruce

This looks bright and crisp. Really lovely! You're so in touch with the environment that you can still infuse your paint with the feeling of plein air!

Yes, I agree with Bruce--a gem, for sure.

Hi Bruce,

Thanks for your positive comment. I think that our plein air adventures can come home with us and end up in our studio work...a wonderful thing!

Good website! I really love how it is easy on my eyes and the data are well written. I’m wondering how I could be notified when a new post has been made. I have subscribed to your RSS which must do the trick! Have a great day!
