'Mount Tolmie Trail' **SOLD**

One of the trails that wind their way through the oaks
and rock out-croppings on the north slope
of Victoria's Mount Tolmie. It is a wonderful place
to wander especially in spring when the grassy areas are
dotted with wildflowers and a wide assortment of birds
can be seen, sometimes unusual migrants.
This was painted from a photo I took while
there plein air painting a couple of weeks ago.
Oil on canvas 6 x 8.

I take for granted these scenes until your wonderful paintings focus my attention and then I realize I must pay more attention.

Thanks for the comment Ron. It is one of the things I aim for with my work. To bring attention to the common scenes around us "all" that we tend to "forget to remember and see".

Thanks for the comment Ralph. I tried using some different colours for the path etc. with this one, and it was kinda fun.
