This is a well known local lake up on the Malahat
not far from Victoria. Because of the elevation
it has a very different feel to it compared to many
of the lakes I usually get to. I didn't get set up
until quite late in the afternoon and so this piece
was done quickly keeping details to a minimum.
Oil on board 6 x 6.

The use of orange and blue really make this painting shine. The strokes seem to be dancing across the canvas.
