Cowichan Lake Summer

When ever I think of Cowichan Lake in the
summer time, this is the spot that usually I
see in my minds eye.
If you like lake swimming
in the heat of high summer it doesn't get
better than this little cove.
This is yet another example of the
wonderful variations in colour
that show up in this lakes water.

A really great spot for sure Jeff. This is a classic image for me as well when it comes to 'the spot', whether it's a lazy summer afternoon on a lake or the ocean in August/September. I want to be there right now having a picnic and snooze! Great job Jeff.

Jeffery, This is a wonderful piece. I love the predominant cool colors, I can almost feel the refreshing coolnest of a summer dip.

Beautiful brushwork as well.

As usual, your water in this piece is just spectacular! Those few bright blue spots down in the corner that mingle into the rocky area are especially wonderful. I must remember to keep my stokes separate as you do!
