The Fisherman

My youngest son in happier times, close to
twenty years ago now. Always ready to fish
then and now. Painting from old photos
always opens up so many memories.
Tough sometimes not to get lost in them.

This painting is very poignant, it seems peaceful to me also. That's so true, what you said about memories! Painting can be so emotional!
