Swan Lake Nature Sanctuary is a natural bog wetland
here in Victoria. It is an extremely important area
to many species of birds, most prominently, waterfowl.
However many other types of birds use the
thick stands of native willows and rushes
for nesting and shelter.

Hi Jeffrey,
thanks for the nice comments..it prompted me to click over and enjoy another look at what you are up to, up there in Canada..I wish we lived a little closer, I'd love to paint outdoors with you sometime.
