I painted this piece using a smaller plein air sketch,done early last summer, for reference.
This is an important area for migrating shorebirds
and waterfowl. Birders will be watching for small bunches
Pacific Black Brant which have already been sighted
in this area last week.
Oil on canvas 9 x 12.
