This piece was painted last week on one ofthose special spring mornings when that smell
of spring cottonwoods sweetens every breath you take.
The sounds and flight of birds fill the air and compete
with the quiet stillness of the rural countryside.
It was a grand day painting with three
buddies, plein air painters all!

I can feel the sun shining on my face in this one. I like the warm/cool sky.
