'Camas & Oaks'**SOLD**

(Canadian west coast Impressionism, wildflowers of southern Vancouver Island oil painting)

More camas with this latest piece as I try to keep a
commitment I made to myself last year, to do more
paintings this spring, featuring one of the most significant
wildflowers of our region. Though you sometimes find them
in a few other spots they are most often associated
with another of our native species the Garry oak.
This is one of my favourite places not far
from my studio.
Oil on canvas 12 x 16.
Your thoughts and comments always welcomed!

It would be great to see a field full of these! As usual your use of light and shadow makes this a very inviting painting.
