'Winter Evening Oaks'

This piece was painted from a photo taken
after a heavy snowfall two years ago here
in Victoria. Although we don't like to admit it
we do get snow here on the south Island from
time to time. There is snow in our
weekend forecast!

Hi Jeffrey!... Two very different subjects and seasons that both display great design and colour!My favourite is the shoreline study.

It is snowing here lightly... as we speak! This is snow country... and November never fails to give us an early reminder of that fact!

Thanks Bruce...the last time I was in your neck of the woods in winter it was a snowfall record breaker (around 1968 or 69)
