Island Spring

The areas of natural Garry oak meadows in our area
will look much like this sometime in the later part
of April. It is a real south island treat to walk
amongst the flowering oaks and carpets of
camas lily and other wildflowers at that time.
This is another piece I will have in the show
opening tonight at the Morris Gallery.
Oil on canvas 30 x 24.

I love these trees, and yesterday's too...bare trees are such a challenge. and I like that you made them so pronounced...no hedging.
