'Highrock Contours" *SOLD*

(Canadian west coast Impressionism, Highrock Park, Esquimalt BC, Garry Oak Ecosystems Recovery Team)

I was able to get out for a quick paint last Sunday at
Highrock park once again. As you can see we had a very
cool cloudy day, something I find very challenging to paint.
The lovely rounded rock contours covered with a coat of
winter moss and the dancing Garry oaks
grabbed my attention this day.
Oil on wood panel 6 x 8.
Your thoughts and comments are most welcomed!
Jeffrey

These are more than beautiful. You captured the light and crisp "air" brilliantly. Wow!!!

Trying to catch up on my favourite blog browsing. The way you have tackled the moss on these rocks Jeffrey is masterful. I really feel they are like little carpets and yet you do it in a wonderful abstract way.

Thanks for that Shelia...it really does feel and look like undulating carpet when you are up there!
