Painting in the presence of majestic maplesis a spiritual experience for me. The grandmother
tree in this painting is many hundreds of years old.
Oh the stories she could tell, if only...so while painting,
my imagination weaves some wonderful tales
of this forest long ago.
A group of "outsiders" painted at the foot of
Mount Douglas yesterday, the weather was
unusually pleasant to say the least!
Another spot that is a must to revisit.
