Madrona Hay Field *SOLD*

Our plein aire gang was at it again yesterday.
We were invited to paint at a
heritage organic farm
that is nestled against the south west
shoulder of Mount Douglas in Victoria.
It is a superb place to paint
far above the hubbub of urban life that
whizzes along below this bucolic jewel.
Families of quail could be heard calling
to each other and seen scurrying about,
somewhat disturbed by these intruders
Goldfinches, swallows and many others
were busy as we painted.
Some of the outsiders will return
early next week for another go.
I hope to be there too.

I don't want to document it or even glamorize it.
I just want to pay tribute to it."

Jeffrey I don't how you do it - but you seem to pull the genie out of the bottle; the jewels out of the crown; the cherries from the trees. I'm in awe because I was also at the same spot and I marvel at how you're able to get the joy onto the canvas. You're a man to watch...
