concentrated their efforts near the mouth of the Esquimalt
Lagoon. It is a beautiful spot with the beach contours
changing with the tide. The area is a significant bird refuge
here on southern Vancouver Island as well, a small stream
that feeds into the upper end of the lagoon is used by
sea-run cutthroat trout for spawning.
This is a special time up here in the Great White North,
we celebrate Thanksgiving this weekend.
So Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Jeffrey,
This is beautiful! Isn't autumn a spectacular time of year? Unfortunately our golden leaves have a layer of snow on them right now!
Have a peaceful and enjoyable Thanksgiving.
Nicki
You are so right Nicki...even the snow (oh my) can make for spectacular paintings when the colours are still there.
Right back at ya for Thanksgiving!
Jeffrey
