Beach Shadows

A little piece of paradise. Finding yourself in such a
spot for a short time is so wonderful for the
soul. The quiet, disturbed only by the sounds of
nature going about her business.
The tide will change, time moves on, so be still,
close your eyes, smell and listen
before the moment passes.
Acrylic on canvas 24 x 30.
Comments appreciated.

Of all your paintings I been watching so far, this is my favorite. I really like your fresh, direct painting style.

This looks familiar. Is it just north of Montague harbor on Galiano? Regardless, you've captured the light (and my summer) beautifully.

Thanks Liz! Somehow I missed your wonderful comment, sorry about that. Yes it's not far from Galiano, it is part of Ruckle park on Salspring Island.
